Last week was all about celebrating our fantastic graduate and professional students. From April 4th to April 10th, Rackham Graduate School, Rackham Student Government (RSG), Graduate Rackham International (GRIN), SocioEconomically Underrepresented Graduate Students (SEUGS), the College of Engineering, and the College of Literature, and Science and the Arts (LSA) celebrated our annual Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW) with a series of free events and activities for graduate students and their families. The week began with the Appreciation Week Kickoff Breakfast and closed with RSG's 'Big Event' on North Campus that saw students and families enjoy a variety of games, food trucks, and inflatable bounce houses. The week gave students opportunities to enjoy free food, swag, and even free massages. Other GPSAW events included RSG's breakfast and yoga mornings in Rackham, GRIN's screening of the movie Lion, SEUGS' mentorship panel, the Rackham Dean's Luncheon, and collaborative events between RSG and GRIN, including a cultural showcase and a Chocolate Crawl through Ann Arbor's best spots for chocolate. We would like to thank our planning committee and all the campus units and student groups who worked so hard to make GPSAW a fun and memorable week for our graduate and professional students.
