Surviving Your First Semester

The first semester of grad school is always the hardest. Come and talk to senior students about how many courses to take, how to get the right team for your course projects, which research lab to join, how to manage impostor syndrome, how to make the most of the challenges that you may encounter along the way, and other tips and advice that our panelists.

This workshop is designed for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Space is limited. For faculty and staff, please contact to see if we can accommodate your attendance.
