Description of Project Role and Responsibilities
The intern working in this role will collaborate with the Michigan Humanities staff team to assist with the creation of materials and statewide programmatic partnerships for the Great Michigan Read and contribute to the organization’s strategic planning process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Writing and editing educational content related to the Great Michigan Read
- Corresponding with statewide partners with inquiries about programmatic partnerships
- Synthesizing survey feedback aa well as staff and board input for use in the Michigan Humanities strategic plan
- Assisting with research related to a best practice model for strategic planning methodology, specific programs, and grants
Time Commitment and Stipend
Start date: May 17
End date: August 20
Hours or days per week: 3 days a week. Preference for availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and one additional day of the week
Duration: 12 weeks
Stipend: $5,040
