Kimberly H. Robinson
Description of Internship Project and Intern’s Role and Responsibilities
This internship will work closely with the Forum For Youth Investment’s Weikart Center staff members to develop new written materials to clearly communicate about the work that we do to support youth programs, the key ideas underlying our approach to program quality and social and emotional learning, and the ways that these themes connect to the growing knowledge base in the field of youth development. They will work on updating and refreshing our existing technical writings into more accessible briefs and infographics for wider audiences, with a particular focus on social and emotional learning (SEL) and the ways that the Weikart Center’s research and practice-based supports for SEL fit into broader conversations about SEL in education and other youth serving fields.
