The gathering will include a welcome from the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies (DAAS) Chair Bénédicte Boisseron as well as freedom stories, poetry, and a tour of the GalleryDAAS.

Leading @250: Triumphs, Complexities, and the Future of Executive Leadership will feature a discussion moderated by Professor Earl Lewis. Panelists will discuss leading amid unprecedented global and institutional pressures, including how to chart a path and honor the legacy of Juneteenth in the face of attempts to undo key aspects of the transgenerational Black freedom movement.
