The Barbour Society Membership Benefits Questions? The Barbour Society To recognize and celebrate the prestigious Barbour Scholarship and to ensure the continued support of current and future Barbours, Rackham Graduate School is proud to launch the Barbour Society. This giving society recognizes alumni and friends who make gifts to the Barbour Centennial Fund each year. This fund honors over a century of support and helps to mitigate financial strain for graduate students as they complete their degrees. The Barbour alumni community represents a rich and international legacy that started with Levi Barbour’s original gift and grows with each new cohort of scholars. Your annual gift, of any size, to the Barbour Centennial Fund renews your commitment to helping graduate students thrive here at the University of Michigan.
