Violet Lang Wu (1928) earned her Ph.D. in Physics. Her dissertation was titled “The Infrared Absorption Spectrum of Propane” (1939). After completing her doctoral degree, Dr. Wu returned to China and taught Physics and Mathematics at Hwa Nen College.
