Home Prospective Students Rackham Merit Fellowship Connection Rackham Merit Fellowship Connection The Rackham Merit Fellowship (RMF) Connection is a program designed for newly admitted master’s and doctoral students who are recipients of a Rackham Merit Fellowship. The 2024 RMF Connection one-week program will be held August 12 to 17, 2024. About the RMF Connection The Rackham Merit Fellowship (RMF) Connection is designed to: Introduce students to resources in Rackham and across the university. Provide professional, academic, and personal development experiences to assist with the first-year transition. Cultivate community among the RMF cohort. Participation in this program is optional, but it is highly encouraged. All students that complete the application by July 22, 2024, will be guaranteed a space. Fellows are expected to attend the entire program, if possible, Monday through Friday and be available during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A final schedule of activities is forthcoming. The “Developing Shared Expectations” handout was a critical piece to starting a conversation with my advisor and supervisor. It really set me apart from other students, and also made me look professional and prepared.
