Michigan Society of Fellows
Six fellows at the start of their careers in any academic or professional field are selected each year for three-year appointments.
President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
Fellowships in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), economics, and political science fields, with faculty mentoring, professional development and academic networking opportunities.
LSA Collegiate Fellowship Programs
This two-year fellowship in the liberal arts provides candidates who are diverse in training, identity, or background with extensive mentorship and professional development for a one-course load each year, with a possibility for a tenure-track appointment at Michigan.
MICHR Postdoctoral Translational Scholars Program (PTSP)
Designed to prepare individuals with a Ph.D. in a biomedical science or social science discipline for independent careers in translational research.
Michigan Pioneer Fellows Program
The Michigan Pioneer Fellows program recruits postdoctoral researchers of extraordinary promise and provides them with financial and mentoring support to prepare for independent, research-intensive careers.
NCID Postdoctoral Fellows
This year-long fellowship, open to scholars in any discipline, provides dedicated research and faculty development support with no teaching responsibilities, allowing fellows to pursue research in a diversity-related topic of their choice.

Rackham Graduate School is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Our offices are closed Saturdays and Sundays and on the following holidays: Thanksgiving (Thursday and the following Friday), Christmas through New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), and Labor Day.
