Me in front of Mt. Logan on the St. Elias ice fields.
I'm working in the Kluane region of the Yukon Territory in Canada. I research the behavioral ecology and evolution of North American red squirrels as part of the collaborative Kluane Red Squirrel Project. Our field site is close to the largest non-polar icefields in North America. I had the opportunity to land on the icefields and see the tallest mountain in Canada, Mt. Logan.
This summer I am partially funded by the U-M International Institute Individual Fellowship.
