Alumni gifts have a big impact on what Rackham can do to support graduate students. In 2016:
- 2,858 gifts were given to support Rackham graduate students
- 84% of donations were from Rackham alumni
- 1,550 gifts were of $100 or more
- 169 gifts were of $1,000 or more
Donor funding helps Rackham to disburse over $54 million in funding to graduate students every year, including:
- 641 Rackham research grants
- 187 summer funding awards
- 2,464 conference travel grants
