The Intersectionality of Well-Being, Identity, and Equity

October 3, 2022, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm EDT

This workshop will examine how well-being and identity are interdependent. Participants will discuss how their identities shape their perceptions of wellness for themselves and others. On an individual level, how can students attend to their own well-being in a culture that doesn’t always promote it? From a leadership lens, we will look at graduate student culture and consider ways in which students have a role in influencing changes that impact student well-being.

This workshop is designed for master’s students, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows. For faculty and staff, please contact [email protected] to see if we can accommodate your attendance.

Registration is required at https://myumi.ch/G1ArR.

We want to ensure full and equitable participation in our events. Please let us know as soon as possible in order to have adequate time, preferably one week, to arrange for your requested accommodations or an effective alternative.
